$5.3 Million verdict named one of Pennsylvania’s 50 largest verdicts in 2007

A $5.3 million jury award was obtained for the estate of Dennis Hillard and his wife Angela, by Levy Baldante shareholder, Lawrence Finney in Wyoming County’s largest ever jury verdict and one of Pennsylvania’s largest jury verdicts in 2008.
Mr. Finney presented evidence to the jury that the defendants were negligent in failing to recommend medication to treat Mr. Hillard’s elevated cholesterol and properly investigate the condition of his heart, therefore increasing Mr. Hillards risk of suffering a fatal heart attack. In November of 2000, Mr. Hillard suffered a massive heart attack that resulted in his untimely death. Dennis Hillard was 31 years old when he died.
