John concentrates his practice in severe personal injury cases, such as brain and spinal cord injuries, medical malpractice litigation, and product liability law.

He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has received numerous honors for results he has been able to obtain for clients in a number of venues. In 1992, his closing argument in a multi-million dollar verdict was entered into the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's Professional Techniques Library for Million Dollar Arguments. In 1997, he was cited for obtaining the largest single personal injury award of $12 million in the Tri-State (PA, NJ, DE) region. He topped this effort in 2002 by setting a new personal injury award threshold with a $16 million settlement in a product liability case, again the largest in the Tri-State area. John championed the largest civil rights case against the City of Philadelphia in 1995 when he obtained a $2.5 million result for a young innocent African-American man who was wrongly shot by a Philadelphia Police Officer. His $4.5 million verdict for an obstetrical malpractice in 1998 still reigns as the largest medical malpractice verdict ever in Gloucester County, New Jersey. A $2.25 million verdict he acquired in New York City was a benchmark result holding that physicians are obligated to fully inform patients about the option of lumpectomy for the treatment of breast cancer. In 2004, John advocated a successful $7 million award on behalf of a young six-year old girl who had been sexually abused, and in 2005 litigated a complex acetylene tank explosion case, which concluded in a $5 million result. In 1998, John was selected to the National Million Dollar Advocates Forum. And each year since 1996, his verdicts and/or settlements have been among the top 25 largest personal injury awards both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

John received his B.A. from the University of Maryland where he was a Rhodes Scholar nominee and obtained his J.D. from Widener Law School. He is a member of numerous legal associations, including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, as well as past Board Director for the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. John has received a peer review rating of AV, the highest rating granted by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a frequent contributor to law journals, lecturer in advanced trial advocacy and guest speaker on television programs dealing with legal matters related to obstetrical malpractice, misdiagnosis of cancer, and catastrophic brain and spinal cord injuries.

An avid runner and cyclist, John also enjoys movies, books and spending time with his family.
